As with many transformative businesses, Cornerstone was conceived through absolute necessity. In 2012, our founder, Jason Waite, identified a critical gap in the global mobility market. Having spent five years operating as an independent home search consultant—personally steering relocations for some of the world’s most influential multinational corporations and their executive families—Jason saw firsthand where the traditional industry was failing its clients. The standard offering lacked the high-touch care, independent oversight, and operational precision that high-stakes corporate assignments demanded.
Driven to redefine industry standards, Jason set out on a solo cycling expedition to San Sebastián to map out a blueprint for a better mobility model. That journey became the foundation for Cornerstone—a global mobility partner built to give clients objective market transparency, protect HR teams from administrative burden, and ensure seamless workforce integration from day one.
